STATEMENT

The issue that I am about to address is on the case of children working under the age of eight.

POSITION ON THE STATEMENT

I disagree with children working under the age of eight.

SUPPORTED YOUR STATEMENT WITH FOUR STATEMENTS

(1) Children should not work from the age of eight because at work when no other workers are keeping an eye on the younger worker the child might get injured and seriously hurt himself which will cost the company money to pay for his medical bills.

(2) Children might now know how to spend their money. They will use their pay to buy expensive toys and other gadgets and not save any money for their future. Children are just too young to earn too much money.

(3) If children work from the age of eight, they will not have enough time to gain a proper education. They will always be at work and they will grow up to be uneducated.

To conclude, children working from the age of eight is a bad idea because it will not help their future.

Last week we learnt perimeters of a shape and circumference, in circumference I learnt pi which was 3.14 in a circle in maths. In writing we learnt how to write a persuasive writing starting first with a statement and ending with a summary.

My Holiday Recount Joseph L Presents JPCC

It was the last day of school for term 2, the holidays was about to start. I only played video games once I got home.

I spent time in the weekends with my nana. At my nana’s house I would always watch movies with my uncle until late at night. I really liked the weekends I wish it wouldn’t end but I still wanted to learn.  

Every morning I would always sleep in and I wouldn’t wake up until the afternoon. The reason I didn’t go anywhere was because I was too lazy and plus it was my holiday.

I liked playing games in the holiday it was like having my own vacation at Hawaii. I didn’t have time to do my reading log because I was too caught up on playing video games. I was playing on my Ps3, I played this game called Payday the heist.

Dumped it inside a mailbox.

7. Explain why the girls thought it was funny.

Because no one suspected anything.

8. How did the girls get to town? Explain the reason for their trip.

They went on a bus and they took a trip because it was too late to go to school.

9. Explain how her friend got into trouble at the big shop.

Stuff that didn't belong to her fell out of her pocket.

10. Explain why the writer threw away the lipstick in the bin.

Because there were cops.
